GIT Academy’s Kuantan Principal Guides Singapore Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Official Pahang Visit

GIT Academy’s Kuantan branch principal, Mr Pan Chee Wan, served as the official tourist guide for a high-profile Singapore delegation’s visit to Kuantan, led by Singapore Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong.

The visit was part of a broader five-day tour of Pahang and Terengganu by Lee, who was accompanied by his wife Ho Ching and a 41-member Singaporean delegation, including Singapore’s Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office Zhulkarnain Abdul Rahim, Member of Parliament Joan Pereira, and Singapore’s High Commissioner to Malaysia Vanu Gopala Menon. The delegation met with Pahang’s state leadership, including State Secretary Datuk Seri Nazri Abu Bakar, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Singapore and Pahang.

As part of the itinerary, the delegation was guided through Kuantan Art Street, a roughly 500-metre stretch of murals and creative work reflecting Kuantan’s local community and identity, alongside other Kuantan tourism landmarks — all introduced as part of Pahang’s push to position Kuantan as a distinctive and promising tourism destination.
