PTPK Study Loan
Here’s a step-by-step guide to assist you:
Complete the Application Form: Begin by filling out the GIT Academy course application form and indicate your interest in applying for the PTPK loan.
Eligibility Check: Ensure you meet the PTPK requirements:
Malaysian citizen aged 15–50
No outstanding loan balance with PTPK from any previous institution.
Payment: Choose to pay Registration Fee
Prepare the following documents for your PTPK loan application:
Final Document Submission (After Step 1)
The following additional documents must be submitted for final processing:
Birth certificate
CIMB Bank account (screenshot of online banking header showing account holder’s name)
Guarantor’s MyKad (front and back)
Latest utility bill (e.g., electric/water/phone – for address verification)
Guarantor’s salary payslip
➤ If unavailable, submit a statutory income declaration form instead
Once your application is approved, log in to the PTPK portal to officially accept the loan offer.
You will be notified to sign the PTPK loan agreement.
✍️ This can be done in one of two ways:
At GIT Academy office, or
By courier – Pay a small courier fee to request GIT’s admin to send the agreement to your address.
Return the signed agreement promptly to avoid any delay in loan disbursement.

Loan repayment begins 6 months after the course start date.
- Timely Payment: Ensure all payments are settled before the class commencement date.
- Tax Benefits: All official receipts from GIT Academy are eligible for income tax exemption under the education category “Vocational, TVET”.
