GIT Academy Signs Cooperation Agreement at Macao-Malaysia Tourism Investment Seminar

On 3 September 2026, GIT Academy (Global Institute of Tourism), represented by its Principal Dr Kenny Khan, took part in the Macao Economic, Trade and Tourism Investment Promotion Seminar and Signing Ceremony, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Dr Kenny Khan formally represented GIT Academy at the signing ceremony, marking a significant step in strengthening international collaboration between Malaysia and Macao in cultural tourism education, professional training and talent development.

Signing of Cooperation Agreement

During the ceremony, Dr Khan signed the Friendly Cooperation Agreement on Cultural Tourism Education and Talent Development on behalf of GIT Academy. The agreement establishes a framework for long-term collaboration between GIT Academy and its Macao counterparts, covering joint programme development, student exchanges, internships, lecturer development, academic exchanges, international programmes, and potential dual-certification initiatives.
